@Jon_Of_Sparta I haven't tried the UV toolkit course, but the modeling in Maya and texturing in substance designer courses were very informative on discussing the interface and features. I am pretty sure the UV toolkit course includes the project file download so you could unwrap the same model as in the video. -

ah ya no way around that, ya i do all my maya and PS integration with python and the comtypes module, but that also only works on windows too. only real way would be to detect the OS, and run bash commands on Linux and Mac, and dos commands or using the com interface on windows. -

I think everyone already pointed out the major issue of just being too cluttered. Maybe add some things that imply the functionality of it, a user interface on the wall or a rotating light. Also the ubiquitous yellow and black stripes. That is to say if it's some kind of emergency blast door give it some "emergency". -

Yeah. Knald and Substance Painter came out, and blew xNormal's crazy slow baking and terrible interface out of the water. If he can come up with something that presents a viable competitor to programs currently on the market, xNormal will be relevant again. Otherwise, I'd switch to something that works better and bakes… -

Still having problems getting the texture rotation and scale on brushes, but I do now have translation. I've always wanted to be able to use houdini. Especially in the early 2000's. But everytime i opened it up i felt like a big dummy. I've noticed you's are starting to push it towards a more artist friendly interface/UX. Keep going! Get me outta maya plz. :) -

since we're on the topic, can someone point me to that new website that recently opened up that allows the importing of models straight into a rigging program, and sells mocap, and other animations in the same interface, i saw they were doing a contest a while back for publicity, but cant find their name again, thanks.
