for @AlexandrDm Hard to say from the image, I would guess you are not working to scale and everything in the world is very tiny so the lights feel gigantic. Try creating a default Unity box in the scene. Those are 1Mx1M and you can check your scale through that. SOMETHING is causing your lights to be super intense
Thank you for your time! The spikes are either going to be large Horns ( maybe from some mythical sea beast ) or some wooden spikes ( both to convey a warning that this place is hostile to visitors / once was ) Id like it to feel in disrepair, that maybe there "might" be a soul inhabitant. however they are no where to be…
I haven't seen much talk about SSD in this thread as of late, but it was the single most important upgrade I made that drastically improved the performance of the latest machine I built a few months ago. You can get a fast proc and a rockin video card but you'll still be slowed way down by the write and read times of the…
-INTRODUCTION- Hello, I'm Heartbrake and I sale 3D models on the internet and I have decided to start a new line of 3D models with the assistance of a fully new and fresh number of 3D modelers and texture artist. losing motivation to create my car art and car models which i've been trying to do for a minute now...just now started seeing progress with 3d. But if a machine can spit out 20 ideas in 2 secs that makes me like obsolete i guess. I'm in drafting school (AutoCAD)
If you want to tag yourself as an Environment modeler why are you making more cars than environments? Your portfolio doesn't really sell you as an environment artist as theres a couple of rendered cars, a cartoony wee girl, ooh look an environment piece sort of feel to it and here I see you making another car. What I don't…
i don't really see a problem here to be honest the works in any portfolio are simply examples to show employers how well you can perform the tasks they give you. the "infringing" artist's execution is worse than the originals and that's really all that matters. they still had to follow a "concept" and execute it from…
Hey everyone, I'm starting to go through old projects that I never finished, and I decided to move this one into UE4. This is from the Sept. 2013 noob challenge. Most of the models were finished except for a few, also most of the textures and arrangement in the engine needed to be done. There are some things that could…
