Congrats on finishing. Doesnt look like Reynolds tho. I'm no expert at likenesses but one way to get a better result is to use an app like zbrush and make it transparent. Get a film of the subject and place it under the sculpt app. Make the app semi transparent and then sculpt using many different angles as reference.
outsourcing studio where im working atm as a 3d character artist doesnt give any credits to artists even tho we work on AAA and AA projects for PC and PS5.My question is why?
we split tasks...its not like one artist is responsible for the full character sculpts. Low poly, textures, grooming. But that doesnt matter. I have…
Thank you for the feedback axxic3. Been a while since I updated my sketch book since I Was super super busy at school... Than again.. that's not an excuse. I'll try to keep it updated from now on... Or at least do better at updating it. :) I want to post some progress of a character I'm working on for a specialization…
Nice work so far. The figure proportions are off. The best alien and monster work is based on real proportions with only the details changed. If you use a figure reference guide like daz3D while you sculpt it will make your work more convincing. There are plenty of reference images for alien space ships on google: Hmm cant…
I mean theoretically, if the vertex order stays the same. You could move bones based on closest point location and update the rig this way? It would probably break eventually if the changes are too big But if you can morph/blend from one sculpted state to another, you can automatically move the bones relative to that blend…

Hi it's been some time but here is what I have done from my last progress and reading week . With some great tutorials shared by Niel , i went on to sculpt some of my sets and textured them. I textured one of the tables and created a smart material from it and apply on other props as from what i know and what I've seen…

That's on the right path. Now you've got this insight, I'd say, go back to your reference, and really pay attention to this aspect. On the reference sculpt, this idea is very extreme compared to this update. I'd draw your attention to the long straight vertical line down the spine, it varies from no crease to strong crease…
Looks mostly solid. Fingers could definitely use more loving, they just look unsculpted at the moment. The sternocleidomastoid muscle that's coming down from the bottom of the chin to the colarbone has it's top insertion point wrong. Should be originating from the back of the ear roughly to the collarbone. Your A pose…
