For scene scale, I just adjusted the grid size. No changes in the preferences cause from past experience changing it to meters or so it gets funny. Grey = 10cm White = 1M
started making my diffuse texture (still need to create a Spec). The reason the black grid lines are on the mesh still is to help ive me reference to the exact position on the UVS.
I make the next grenade from the Russian "model range." RGD-5. The UZRGM fuse will be the same, except for the safety lever. Also I will slightly improve the fuse grid
Np. the tile plane has different uvs than the default plane. Tileplane has uv border flushed to the grid, whereas default plane has gap, hence the border.
Try this : http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/scripts-plugins/texturing/c/uvdeluxe The edge straightening tools will help you grid UVs. There's a bunch of other handy stuff too.
Are the UV's inside the green square overlapping the UV's in the blue square? I know the UV's inside the blue square are overlapping the big square inside of there, but I was wondering about same spots but on different parts of the grid? That is all Thanks! :)
