Try reset xform. Maybe the scale transform is messed up. I got this a few times, and after reset Xform, it worked. -

I had kind of the same problem like your strokes, but with transformation boxes of the layer. No problems with my Bamboo drawing though. -

It could be something with the group structure because objects inherent pivots. Try un parenting it completely and that freeze transformations and center pivot. -

I like how Transformers gets tied into this. Pluto was kinda lame in my opinion. Now Mercury that's a freaking planet right there. -
How to snap to an object in maya?
I need to align lets say a cube to a joint, and with matching orientation and everything. I dont know how, there is supposed to be a Match transform tool or something that does this. -
