It's been said before, but I'm sure you won't mind hearing it again... absolutely stunning job. Thank you for posting so many images, as I'll certainly use them as a study for clean, optimised, beautiful realtime character modeling.
If you're into tech, learning Substance Designer can be your first step in making shaders. Then you'll be able to learn how to do similar stuff in realtime and animated - in Shaderforge/UE4. Useful knowledge if you want your enviros to live or change.
Hey Dave are you using the Component Editor to tweak the weighting? It has a nice slider on it that updates in realtime. I personally like the Component Editor (quirks aside) better than max's weight table, and I've done a lot of weighting in both.
I'll second going for realtime rendered graphics in your showreel if you want a job in the game industry. Making it look good with fancy offline render features is good as well, but not that relevant... yet. BTW, who decides which are the "best" reels?
pretty good. has some real potential. id watch out for proportions. and i'd show these in a game engine, or at least a realtime viewport shader, or marmoset ;) its just me, jaggy edge aliasing and unfiltered textures give me a hard on.
Hey guys, I finished my lastest realtime character , hope you guys like it!🙂 concept by: Conner Fawcett more details on artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/3dE0QJ https://twitter.com/gustavo_m3d https://www.instagram.com/gustavo._medeiros/
I'm sculpting this nice concept from creaturebox. The plan is make a low poly version to show with sketchfab or another realtime viewer. I still have to perfectly match camera and proportions... but I think Maya is more suited for this task (imageplane + multiple cameras). Here is the concept
Hey folks, I'm working on a new bust, the idea is simple she is some kind of african princess with aztec influences. My goal is a realtime version. I'm quite happy with the proportions and the style of her jewellery, but her hair is still work in progress. Comments and critiques are allways welcome 8)
HelloSo, last year I made a photobash, and more recently I managed to translate it into 3D.I hope to get feedback on how I can improve it.I conceived this environment as playable \ realTime and put it together in UE4I want to finish view from this camera angle first https://youtu.be/m9eIq_biKW8
Hi all, First real crack at a head sculpt and with realtime render in marmoset. https://i.imgur.com/AHX6moJ.jpg Fiber hair is definitely WIP needs a lot more variation etc, but anything else you think please let me know I'll be interested. :)
