Hi guys! I am working in the Artstation Real Time Challenge, this is the first blockout of Mr Charon, Character designed by https://www.artstation.com/contests/wild-west/challenges/45/submissions/27424?sorting=survivorshttps://www.artstation.com/fio
Hi guys, I'm working on a takedown and here's my first blockout. I will post updates as it develops but I'm looking for some feedback. As I move onto breakdowns, any feedback and crit is very much appreciated! :-)
More practices over the last week. Start working with body blockouts. Take more time to get the pose down then actually sculpting, but once everything is in place it a fast process
I didn't do a blockout. I usually model piece by piece without adding any detailed geo, and then I go back to refine everything when the proportions are right.
The floor pieces look a little bit weird to me, they look too rounded... or pillowy. Are they baked down to planes, or are they geometry like in the blockout. If they are geo, then the smoothing is def throwing it off.
It's the blockout and then from here Imma make the highpoly. I'm just reconstructing the whole thing, I figure that'd be the best way instead of dabbling around with a bunch of different methods.
