Are characters with props that are on separate UVS possible to import as 1 FBX - UDK?
Are characters with props that are on separate UV sheets able to be imported as 1 fbx into UDK? - If so - how would I do that...I tried just having them all and exporting them from maya - but i got a situation where half of the model is missing or invisible -

Yeah jam all the work on 1 page. Also you don't need more than 1 (maybe 2 max) shots of each piece then. Why does everything look like it came from Borderlands? Dump the black outline on the work. It makes everything read weird to me. -

I'm curious as to why you would want to do this, because I couldn't come up with a good reason for it. I went off and attempted it, and I'm sure there is a more efficient way to do this but it's a bit late. My plane is as you described, not segmented but it ranges from -1,-1 to 1,1. -

Ask yourself how is this model going to be viewed? Is the game from a first-person perspective, or a racing game, a flying sim, etc.? The ring there is really small in screen space, so I would just map 1/8th or 1/4 of the circumference, and repeat that all the way around the circle. -
