Where do you guys get your reference images for modeling. Personally goggle images just isn't working for me. -
looking for an image
I am looking for a specific image that was posted on polycount a while back, it was either a .gif or a really large image of a parody on "how to make a cube" I cant find it anywhere, but it was hilarious. -
Modeling with less reference images? Any good tips?
Hello, If you have to model a face. And you have only one image what you have to model. How do you approach this? I have a image from what i want to model a character face, I have similar but not same side view image. How would you recommend modeling in this case? Try to find similar expression face side view? -

Though I have made some posts around the web with dropbox images, it is really bad practice to use it in public formats like a forum. When you run out of space, and delete stuff to make more room, you create a bunch of trash topics because the images they talk about no longer exist. my friend runs this:… -

The algorithm is not in the image, the image serves as data for the algorithm - the algorithm reads the image and converts the data into a 3d mesh (or converts a 3d mesh into an image). The linked paper goes into the specifics, but not entirely - you'll need some serious skills to reproduce it. -
Marmoset (Capture>Video) render output is a still image
Whenever I try to render (using capture>video) custom shaders, the video output is just a frozen image, with no movement whatsoever. Like... it creates a 10 second video of a still image. The shader (basically a scrolling texture) works fine when I'm previewing it, but once it is rendered and a file is created, the result… -

thanks throttlekitty. there is definitely something wrong with my setup. i tried just using windows image viewer and photoshop to display my image and then had painter next to the reference image. i activate the eyedropper and hold right click, then float above my reference image but doesn't seem to work. it works… -
