Ouch yea 15 CRT I hear that, I have 3 sitting in my garage. Those fuckers are HEAVY in comparison. I really didn't think it was going to be that liberating when I switched but holy crap it was awesome.
is painting in voxel by default? it seemed weird when I tried the demo, like you were drawing a normal map and then the geom 'pops' out after you've stroked.. buh 15 days is way too short for a demo
Pre-order is up on Steam at 25% off - $15 instead of $20. It was 50% briefly which sent it straight to the number one spot on Steam. Looks like it's going to be a pretty successful indi title. Release is next month.
I'm with Flaagan. Not going to go to another GDC in San Fran. No offence to those that live in/around there, it just isn't the best place for a convention. I'm not too keen on paying $15 for a burnt hamburger with shoestring fries out of the bag.
So I have been working on this gun from about 15 days. It was my first time using fusion so it took me around 100 hours. It was really fun creating this piece. Now I will be moving to re-topology and after that UV unwrapping and texturing. Critiques are welcome.
Finally finished with this gun. It was created in Fusion 360 and after that imported in Blender for clean up. Baking was done in Marmoset Toolbag and texturing in Substance Painter. SIG MPX: 24K tris AN/PEQ-15: 3.6K tris Romeo 5 optic: 2.7K tris I hope you like it!
Looking for some feedback on this. I have been learning Maya and Zbrush after using 3D Studio's for over 15 years (I started in 3DS 4 DOS). This peace is based off of concept art from Blizzard for World of Warcraft.

I've had this pic on my hd for a long time, and have become curious as to the originator. I tried google image search, and its not in the first 10-15 pages for me, so I figured someone here might recognize it and know who did it.
So, our best buddy Jack Thompson has started some crap up about the unreleased game BULLY. I think it looks quite entertaining. But here's the scoop: http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2006/08/15/Jack_is_back_to_beat_up_on_Bully/ Persistent he is. Moron.
