Well its actually the first :) Onee thing so far i have really liked about Berlin is all of the interesting places to go see. Just down the my street there is a hair salon/artsy bar, a Juda Priest themed bar with a 7 foor statue of Rob Halford in front,a video game themed bar as well , my favorite though is..... A bar…
I am looking for somebody to setup a blender scene I can use to make renders of files (primarily tabletop miniatures), with a studio-like feel. The render should showcase the depths and contours of models, and all the small detail, and use a plastic-like material. Ideally I would like to be able to drop files in the scene…
I remember when I first stated up Timesplitters 2 on PS2... one of the first cinematics of the game had a guy nervously wiggling his fingers, eyes darting around frantically - I had never seen anything like it in a game! As an artist with no interest in becoming an animator, it's nice to remind myself how much life…
You don't have to use any tools you don't want to. But if there are tools out there that make life easier, make doing your job quicker, and you have access to them at no extra cost, it seems odd not to employ them. It's not like you have to use dynamesh on every sculpt, or try to find ways to use it beyond what it's meant…
I think it's a bit of that and a pinch of self delusion on the artists part. It's like making it in any entertainment sector... It's not impossible but it can certainly be improbable. Having self awareness and the ability to research independently are two crucial skills for anyone's development and success in life.

Edit:holy shit this motherucker has pink hair. here is how we relax and relive stress "step one: hop on the…
Hello everyone! I'm pretty new here, but I just have a question on why my character model's bones are defying all laws of physics. I'm modelling in blender 2.6, and everything looks awesome until I open my model in HLMV. In blender, I basically used the source sdk male_06 model. I did nothing to the default skeleton. All I…
Hey Guys, I'd like to share with my first real attempt to likeness. sculpt of the amazing artist Leonardo DiCaprio i used the BPR render Hope you guys like him. Thanks for the support https://www.artstation.com/artwork/rybEO
I didn't look at the assets, but they probably simply painted over renderings of them to make them better readable. If we assume the models haven't changed during development (which could easily be the case, though) then some of the details are simplified or bigger or even translated. If those are the original icons, then…
Thank you! Your texturing looks great too—the material definition feels really realistic. If I had to nitpick, I do have a couple of small suggestions: * Edge wear at bottom looks a bit too uniform. You might try adding some larger scratches, like in the reference, to break up that subtle straight-line pattern. * The…
