I'm the same as many here, I enjoy 3D so much plus I want to improve so that takes up most of my time, also I'm trying to get in better shape so between the gym and 3D I end up with a couple of hours of Dota a week and that's about it really :( -

Update your FBX plugin, you're using one from 2009. Freeze transformations on the mesh and maybe try moving the pivot point to the bone you're binding to, though the latter one shouldn't usually be the issue. Also for future reference, Dota can support up to 3 max influences in the skinning tab. -

They have a lot of studios in other countries as well. Maybe those are the ones being let go? I think they also had a huge army working on WoW, that weren't devs, and that game is fast approaching the downward slope. Also, I see they mention "Blizzard DOTA." Does that mean their lawsuit with Valve fell through? Sucks so… -

It's not a problem with the network or internet, at least not in my case. In my case, it was definitely on Valve's end, because all of my previous submissions disappeared from my list of workshop items in the Dota 2 client, and no amount of uploading or refreshing could fix it. Ok guys i worked on the set some more, although i still need to make the masks (only color and normal so far). Also, do you know how i can edit dota 2 animations and upload them , since axe's attack animation is bugged, i'd like to fix it for this set. As usual, feedback on the set is really apreciated -
Re: Normal Map comes out like poop
I had to optimize the low poly because Dota has a 400 poly limit for the particular hero this sword goes on. When I took the low poly from zbrush, the thing had about 538 polys, so i had to cut some edges quite a bit. Is that what's screwing me up? -
