Nah, because you then have the original drive as an external for other "secondary" programs. I did it for my parents. But now with the added bonus of 3.0 USB, your going near the same speed it would have been installed as SATA internally. $0 gigs is enough for PS, Zbrush, Win7, Max. If done smartly.
