angle weighted normals in maya 2013 (max vertex normals in Maya?)
It seems to me that Maya 2013 added the angle weighted normals like max uses. Not sure if I'm right but for my tests the assets baked in Max with the vertex normals exported from FBX look ok in Maya2013 if you setup on attribute editor and set it to be "angle weighted normals". Zbrush to Max
hey guys, im learning how to do highpoly detail in zbrush then back to max. I create a support pillar for an environment in max, brought into zbrush, used decimation master exported back out. When I import back to max, everything is fine, but the smoothing groups make it look all messed up. Am i forgetting to do something?… -

Also check out the Normalize function of TexTools lowest left button. It will scale or Normalize the UV shells to more or less match in scale. SRGB & 3DS Max
Hi, I setup my Photoshop to display in SRGB to be on the same page with UE4 but my 3DS Max viewport won't display the proper colours. I've messed around with the gamma settings in max but can't seem to find anything that corrects it. Does anybody know of any settings to properly display SRGB in the max viewport? thanks/
