It's such an iconic style to paint textures for some games and I'm completely clueless as to how everyone does it, honestly at this point it looks like black magic to me. So how do I get started? where do I begin? I'm really curious, I want to learn
Hello! My object is a bit rotated and I use L.Sym(local symmetry) to get my details right. The details look symmetrical near the center of the mesh but when I move towards the edges of the object, the symmetry breaks. Maybe there is a magic setting for the brush to maintain the symmetry?
Incredible!!!! Bravo. World machine really is magical, never could get to grips with it myself, and instead purchased world creator. (although their erosion isn't nearly as good...although I haven't messed around with it for almost a year, maybe time to dive back in).
Some weapons I did based on the Warcraft style! I had a little fun trying to use succulent bulbs as the magical source for each weapon. Each one represents a different class in the game. Can you guess which one is which? =)
Worked this week on a blockout for an obstacle in my game: A stone pillar for a wizards' tower. The idea is to put a (magical) light into the cavity in the middle to make it a bit more interesting. And here in-game just for a quick size-check (no material applied, that's why it's so dark):
@ecasie1 The card knight is such a cool concept, your folds could be less blobby and more crisp, crush up a playing card and use it as reference :P The card attaches to the armour by magic, (sort of like raymans limbs?) I wouldnt worry about it
not sayin' anything, just first time to see lotus motive sword here. normally lotus weapon impression giving me like girly type of magic staff... or chinese straight sword...those flexible looking one.... hmmm but whose weapon is that?
There's a cheap cam vid from last month's convention, this is really like the old games [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4IxhUtZlgY"]Might & Magic X Legacy: Abgefilmete Gameplay-Szenen von der PAX East 2013 - YouTube[/ame]
Fable 1 is one of my favorite RPG's, so I'm looking forward to this even though 2 was pretty disappointing. I still really prefer the setting of the first game to the industrial setting of this one, it seemed a lot more magical I guess.
Noticed all the interactive tools and handles were laggy in the viewport with my 1000Hz Razer mouse. I set it down to 125Hz and it got fixed, but was wondering if there's some magical setting I should check so it would work as flawlessly with 1000Hz mouse?
