I really wanted to finish this by 15th of July, because that's Adam's birthday, but in the end couldn't quite make it, and even managed to get myself a bit burned… -
getting maxes working pivot to work like mayas
I use this so much in maya, and its so quick and intuitive, but im struggling with maxes, i can use it and it seams pretty powerfull, but really slow, needing to change menus etc just to place or rotate it, any workrounds/flows for this would be appreciated or is this just another of maxes, shit lets copy a tool but not… -

Beautiful colorful seams(I'm dont like them)
Hello! I had an unexpected problem: 1px seams at my seamless textures Here is the texture. Eech piece has 512x512 plus additional 1px at borders, but problem is still here. So, how i could fix this? I've set a nearest filter for texture in UDK, but... It's not a solution, because i need some antialiasing :) -
Multiple IM Programs like trillian/miranda etc...
Which multi-protocol IM-program would you recommend? i've been using trillian for a long time now, but i find the options in the free version both bloated and lacking, and i don't want to use a crack for pro, because it's a rather small company. So, is gaim any good.... is miranda? Enlighten me! -

Artifacts in normal baking a cylinder shape like obj
the shape is a fuel can, and im still new to this hard edges soft edges baking thing :/ im using fbx file format, with a basic cylinder unwrap. But i still have lots of artifacts especially on the cap. Also how the hell do i make the cap SHARP, the normal is really soft. This is a game asset so i cannot put supporting edges -
