Hey guys , another robot up for critiques - Realised the design started to suffer as soon I started to noodle the details. . Have at it :D Thanks in advance ! -V
Hey PC, here's a robot I made for a game I'm working on with a friend. He's a "normal" cannon fodder type who tries to roll up and shock you. Alternate versions will have laser guns and flamethrowers and whatnot. A few more shots here.
Hey guys, im working on a robot turret. Reference by Sam Brown, im not going for 100% copy but using it as a base for concept. I wanted bigger/longer guns to make it look more imposing and a bigger frame, Got his permission By skyline5gtr at 2012-07-10 By skyline5gtr at 2012-07-10 By skyline5gtr at 2012-07-10 By…
Probably futaba. They make the servos used to control the robot (and apparently the robot also). The servos are very common for RC cars/planes/boats. I'm assuming they used one of their RC Helicopter gyros for balance... then some cool programming
Hey, I am a game programmer and I am in need of a Halo spartan and a small robot. If it's possible can someone send me a download link or a site to get it? Thanks, Elisha Victor from the Fussle Blog.
Hello, I would like to start a thread about designing robots. Someone here inspired me with similiar idea about spaceships and I think that many of us could share or learn something new about this topic. How should I approach designing and modelling such thing? What are some good workflows etc.? Here are some references of…
A project Iv'e been working on in the last couple of weeks. It is a "old style" wind up tin robot. The modeling was done in Maya and the texturing was done in both Photoshop and Substance Painter. I don't know if I should leave it as is or go back and add some "dirtiness" to it. Let me know how it looks and any feedback is…
Hi everyone! This is one of my personal projects to improve my hard surface modelling skills. At the same time I wanted to practice with Marvelous Designer for some parts of the robot. Hope you like it! Comments and feedbacks are really welcome ;) I was inspired by the concept art of Benjamin Last. This is the concept: If…
a couple problems I see with this scene conceptually: how did the robot get in the room and could the floor really support its weight, especially if its moving around? the robot really conflicts with the space that it's in.
