Right now, the horns and generic animal head shape make it look more like a goat. It needs more realistic rat-like facial features. Cody one of the things that helped me improve was to start making realistic models with pretty low poly counts with small texture sizes. It's pretty hard to make something realistic with nothing. Well not everyone wants to model THAT realistically. It just sounds to me as though you want everyone to model in a uniform manner.
