So i have set out to make a small modular UE4 scene, centered around a form of sewer dungeon. Here is what i got so far, the textures aren't finished yet, but just there for reference so far. They will be detailed later :) Was thinking of keeping this thread updated with my progress, questions and to hear all of your…
Hey, I'm working more on that model and configuring GoZ to try and toss the model back and forth between the programs, but no luck. I've got an excerpt from my old Demons story bible here that might be entertaining... The Seven Generals There are many who control the various parts of the machine-like government that exists…
ok, so I havn't worked on this scene in a couple of months and have just come back to revisit it, there should be some major updates over the next couple of weeks as that is when my final deadline is for. I've decided to take the scene in a different direction, instead of having some sort of river it will now be a stone…
Cool project. It will be easier for us to give you any critiques if you show us the concept art or reference photos. For now, the ground looks too noisy that will kinda "ruin" the focal point in the middle. Let our eyes "relax" as we look around to the focal point. Also, it's kinda obvious that it is a repetitive texture…
love the sense of scale, thought the huge stones on the left side seems a bit too big. The lighting's really coming together, you should try to get some moke bright light hitting the statue area. That bright rigid sheen really sells your rock texture. It's a bit flat color-wise, some hints of green on the outsides would go…
Sculp is made with hard brushes in ZBrush, like Trimdynamic to keep an angular look. We didn't want sculpts to be too smooth. Almost all the assets have oriented normals (exept for the organic parts or smooth ground like the beach...then it was soften). There are almost no hard edges in that game. From the tiling sculpt, I…
Hey, I absolutely love this! I love the league of legend style and would love to play your map! I wish I could do that awesome stuff too and I would love to see a making of or something. Because I wonder how you did these awesome textures. Have you hand painted for example every stone or do you use just one texture for all…
If you look at the concept, the cliffs seem to be made of tall jagged stones. right now your shapes are too uniform and evenly sized. I would recommend making 3-4 tall jagged stones and then simply crash them through each other to create the cliff faces. right now it would probably look too noisy with tons of small-medium…
p442- the title is viking/nordic and there was alot of gothic arcitecture in norway quite similar to mont saint micheal later on and there would have been alot of crossover between as new stone based techniques became available and would have been mixed with old roof and wooden frame building. i dont think there is the…
Log time peoples. So I struggle with the back side of the house since I have no reference for it and for that reason I was putting it aside. I know its going to be a back porch with a stone fence but I wasn't sure what type of building to put there. A forth dome is going to be an overkill so it has to be something else. A…
