Your prop work is pretty nice, but character and layout skills are poor. I would get rid of the bazaar scene and all your character stuff and just focus on showcasing your props individually. In comparison to junior level artists, I would say you still have a ways to go. Keep pushing yourself
wow, the video showcases it so much better then your screenshots. so much awesome detail! I agree with @slosh. though, the face from the nose and up could use a little extra love. but overall its a solid model. overall the process and workshop in general was a blast to follow, hope you do it again sometime!
Great work so far! I think the tattoo works better with the lowered opacity. The open mouth faces (3rd and 5th) look a little strange with a lot of pinching at the edges... I'm not quite sure it's meant to look like that. Also, considering that he is a warrior/fighting type wouldn't it make sense to showcase a…
The demo reel didnt load for me in chrome. Im in Europe. The comment on the image quality was a good one. I was told that prospective clients?employers ant impressed by blank models so I would showcase the textured versions. The comments about getting your work on artstation were really good ones. Good luck!
Loving it! It's not very often you see stuff like this beeing showcased. Kinda reminds me a bit of Wind Waker. Which is a very good thing! ^_^ Only crits I have are that the hay roof looks a bit too orange on some pictures and the leaves on the tree don't really fit in. Keep up the good work!
Hello fellow polycounters! Like the title might suggest, I'll use this thread to build up a (small) portfolio, that I'll use to apply for internships soon, since I finished university (Graphic Design) in febuary. And I'm hoping for feedback/support! :) I already learned a LOT from this awesome community. Later on I'll use…
Hey there Polycounters, this is my first post. I'll have to start a sketchbook and art dump thread here asap, but for the meantime figured I'd use this thread to showcase the work I'm doing as Lead Concept Artist on Digit Game Studios' Kings of the Realm game. Here's a Time-Lapse video of a concept piece I recently did.…
Hello there, I've recently reworked my portfolio site to try and simplify the layout and the content as I want the artwork to be the main focus. I thought it would make sense to get the polycount community to have a look and see if its lacking in areas (and to see if the content on there is good enough to showcase). The…
hey guys, figured I'd start a thread showcasing my W.I.P on current and future personal projects. however, seeing that I'm pretty lousy with updates ill do my best to update regularly To kick it off here my take on beast from the X-MEN. Ill post some more of the full body later today as its Pretty damn late.
Is there any way to avoid this? I have a model which works perfectly with pins that always stay where I put them but in this model I'm unwrapping now it's a nightmare to keep them in place. Here's a little video showcasing the problem: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1peFrDxupLn9OjtrLIIpVuK-YHTd8sjy1
