      yeah i tried everything, even deleting my prefs entirely and letting maya generate the default ones.. we are about to roll over to 2009 so i am going to install that and see if the problem still exists thanks

      Thanks for the reply. Where is the "Camera Select" option? The select tool in Maya 8.5 has no settings at all, not even a measly checkbox. I also checked in selection preferences and didn't see anything that fitted that description. Maybe it was added in 2009?

      I like this a lot so far :) maybe the folds in the cloth could use a bit of tightening up? Have you tried using the damstandard brush? or one of the brushes from here http://www.selwy.com/2009/zbrush-clothes-tutorial/

      Hi. So, I just installed 3ds max 2013 (used 2009 version before). Everything is perfect but there's a problem with how textures look in viewport. Here's the screenshot: I checked both "Match bitmaps as closely as possible" in settings. What am I doing wrong? :poly117:
