Ta da! Here are my beauty shots and, barring any huge errors, I'm calling it done. Actually, there is one huge error that I couldn't fix... can you notice it? :) I have a small post-mortem at the bottom Post-Mortem Opening this up again after 2 years was quite an experience. Back then, I was very big on "letting the normal…
For what its worth, I second the folks who have suggested starting with a prop before taking on a whole scene. It can be something you use later in a larger scene if you like, but I think there are some issues with your approach to texturing that need to be worked out before you make dozens of props with the same errors.…
I want to make the intensity of the emissive flicker with a timeline but I am not sure why its giving me an error. Blueprint Runtime Error: "Accessed None trying to read property Matr". Blueprint: ROATE2 Function: Execute Ubergraph ROATE2 Graph: EventGraph Node: Set Scalar Parameter Value
Here is a screen shot of the ao map, but I'm getting an error which will not let me save out the bake. Any Ideas? I am converting the obj exports for high and low to quads, currently they're set for poly's in 3ds max obj exporter. Should that fix the issue? Here is the error
I keep getting this error all of a sudden when trying to render a blockout map in 3ds max using Textools 4.10 --Type error: setclipboardBitmap requires BitMap, got" undefined Also, when I choose Save As.. in the render map options, it just saves a blank image.
Hello, I seem to have problems with DDO and 3DO recently. After working for a few minutes they seem to crash giving me this error. I think it's a new error that I'm getting, because I didn't have it before. Any suggestions on what I should do?
Had this a few times really annoying, have not found a proper fix. A way round it is if you get the error move the object in the scene undo the move so its back where you want then it will export without the error. Hope this helps :)
Works just fine here, without doo dark error or whatever.. the only thing I noticed is, that it's not power of 2. the image size was 1024x1023 so you need to change it to 1024x1024 (but this could also an error from the attachment upload, idk.
did you try exporting the model as it is. those look like transparent meshes so it could just be a sorting error. What you can do to fix it if it is a sorting error is detach all the elements and then add them back in vertical order.
What errors? There are some viewport-only smoothing errors after using the EdgeSmooth script, which aren't present when rendering or exporting. Is that what you're talking about? I kill them by adding an Edit Normals modifier, then collapsing the stack.
