So what's your complaint here, that he won't give a popcorn movie three or four stars? Yeah, the problem here is that you apparently don't actually read his reviews. He just gave mediocre popcorn fest Clash of the Titans three stars, which was rather generous IMO. As far as violent flicks go, he gave Inglorious Basterds…
Heya! Welcome to my second entry in this contest! Lets get started with the references: Since mankind existed they wanted to travel through space explore unknown worlds and travel too the moon, evidence was found in history, ancient books and "modern media". The outcome of this wish manifested in the "Apollo Program" in…
Artwise? Recently: For Sci Fi I'd say Vanquish, Gears of War 2, Crysis 2, Portal 2, Starcraft 2, and Mass Effect 2. Pretty much every sci fi game in the past 2 years that ends with the number 2.
If "Sci-Fi Hallway" is the most descriptive title possible, it seems likely not the most interesting project. I'd be much more likely to check out, say, "Genetics Lab" or "Refinery Ship Interior" or "Sci-Fi Diplomatic Ship Corridor".
[ QUOTE ] In fact, a sci-fi or fantasy genre *could* have product placement so-long as that product is recreated in a way workable for that environment: If Coke were to want some real estate in a certain sci-fi game their Coke product would have to be redesigned to fit the sci-fi theme. An example would be to redesign the…
Perhaps, you`ve been victim of the Blizzard contest frenzy Concepting the `form` before the `detail` is the correct procedure, so keep at that. Also native american + sci-fi is potentially very cool, I`d say push more of it into the sci-fi, bring more in with the details, and maybe mix it up some more with another culture.
Amazing film. Love the Halo guns and Half-Life similarities. Great blend of sci-fi and real world conflict. Can't wait to see new stuff from neill blomkamp. @BlackulaDZ I've had a few friends thinking it was pretty crappy, saying it was only for 'nerds' and 'geeks' because of aliens and the sci fi 'crap'. sigh
Thanks Dethling! Gotta say the P90 is one of my favorite sub machine gun, especially how you reload the magazine on top of the weapon, personally I think is a really cool design. When I'm designing weapons, I've always look at modern weapons first and think about, "how can I make this look more sci-fi". For this railgun…
The theme of this skin is 70s/80s sci-fi and its inspired by cult movies such as Star Wars and Godzilla series. Colors, composition of elements, structures and shapes are inspired by various artist (both comic book artists from the era and contemporary art which use the theme of 70s/80s sci-fi). Development process of this…
Well I agree with you so much...yet, you have to consider Style and taste..this is kind of very old shcool sci-fi. Not organic kind like you see so much now. I waned old bolts, rivets, old old style with a future sci fi look =) Like I alway say, suggets me a cool 2D concept and if i like it i will model it =)
