I moved my project to UE 4.14. I'm now playing around with the cable component. My goal is to make to cables with the lanterns move in the wind but I'm still searching the best way to do this. Added a few other props like some pillows and flowers. :smile:

I've been busy with other things as well as the holidays but this month is grind fest 2014. With the first digital update I did a very sketchy lay in for the composition. There is still a lot to fix and tomorrow I'm going to try to finish the clean line work to get ready and paint on.
Hi Jerc, I realised after posting that I had a previous version of UDK installed tomatch up to my uni computers. It was build 9505 I think. So, I am in the progress of downloading the latest version. It's called 2014-08 in my download thingy.

Maya 2013 is giving me an error when I try to load a HDR cube map saved as .dds float32 RGBA. Googling found some info on the Maya 2014 docs that seems to hint that 16 or 32 bit array(like a cubemap) textures are not supported. Surly I'm crazy and am just missing something?
hello, I am trying to render a space scene in maya for my animation course. I have the ship, a few planets and an asteroid and 4 camera angles. What I cant seem to wrap my head around is lighting the scene and adding the stars. How do I add a starfield in Maya 2014 and a sun with a lens flare? thanks!

I'm animating a bouncing ball using the squash and stretch principle. When I scale the ball for the stretch or squash part for, say, the 7th frame, it changes the shape of the model in the keys before it into the new scaled shape. I just need it for one frame. I'm using Maya 2014, and I don't know what to do.
