I have heard that you don't want to have more then four LOD's in your model but what does this mean? I can only have four uv maps/material ID's per model? And how does this apply to a large scenes? I am still some what new to modeling and UDK so any information would be such a great help. Thanks.
i built a small room with a desk in it, and stuck one d/s light in there. The desk cast shadows and looks great by converting it to a mover and cast dynamic shadows. Just a quick question here. Is it better to us up all the space on a uv map or maintain even texel density? I thinking of an example like a barrel where you have one big piece and two ends that don't take up that much room.
