Hey guys, how would you go about fixing texture stretching on areas that deform a lot? I have a rigged character (clothes are not simulated, they are skinned) for a short film and I get texture stretching in the shoulder area once the arms drop to the side(we're using Maya 2016). Here's a screenshot:

Hi, I was wondering how can I kill flickering reflections in my turnaround? They come from reflection pass only. I am rendering with Maya 2016 Vray 3. Clamp level and subpixels are checked. Reflection subdivs: 64. Fresnel IOR 1.2 (lowering the number helped to reduce blurriness of flickering reflections, but that's all).…

Hi guys, I've attached what my problem is. It's basically a view-port issue with Maya. The version I am using is Maya 2016 SP6. I'll attach my normals but I don't think that's the problem as they render out okay and look fine in different software. Any help on this would be great. Thanks.
Its a quick one, how can I select a whole UV island by selecting a single poly in the viewport? Kinda like the "expand polygon selection to seams" but instead of using UVUnwrap seams (wich work with pelt and peel) it uses the actual borders of the uv islands. Im using 3DSMax 2016. Thx!
Hello! I am grateful to everyone who gave me advice on this thread. Later, I'll get back to Ingram model - it has to be completely rework. Now I tried to create a simple model in order to train in the nextgen texturing. Low-poly Shield. polys/tris: 316/632. Diffuse, spec, normal map (1024x1024):

Just a little Update, I found that Mirror table, available here, seams to be working good! The creator does not guaranty that it will work for 2016, but so far, everything is running smoothly. I'll be looking into more auto-rigging tools, but for now, I think this will be working for me! :D
