This is awesome, thanks for sharing! We did a lot with this technique for a couple Unity games a few years ago, to greatly improve perf, especially for vfx. Big wins.
ok so this is a subway station i am working on for practice because i just got 3DS Max about 2 months ago, i know it isn't very good at all, thats why i want C&C hehe if you guys like it, i will start adding water pipes and stuff, you will notice the one wall is really plain, i was thinking of adding some small details…
A few more WIPs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEFmCbm8KA8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fziDcIun5p8 And then I redid the rig so that the main body is the first below the root joint, so that I could more easily control it, and not have to fight against the lower body IK. More of that soonish!
I'm helping some guys with a mod,and they had some nice concept design. This was one of them. Here's my model with nmap at 5000 tris with 1 1024 diffuse spec and nmap. I'm still working on the texture and trying to give it more details.I'd apprisciate some feedback on the overall look and how to improve it :P PS,there is…

You are definitely getting less number crunchin muscle, but that really depends on how you value their controller and their first/second party titles. That price is actually pretty appealling to me since i am a big…

I'm going to use this thread to post previous, current and future progress on the project. ALL FEEDBACK IS WELCOME I want to learn as…
That's a title and a half and I think this is my first personal work-in-progress thread here, hello there! This was supposed to become my entry for the Allegorithmic Road Trip contest, but I ran out of time (and skill) so I turned it into a learning project. My goals for this are: * design of a fictional vehicle (this I…
