hmm, depends on which one you pick. In most cases you will get some *.ms file (maxscript) which contains the script. So if you take the first script, it links to: http://scriptspot.com/files/Tik_Mass_Randomizer_v1.913.mcr which is a macroscript (mcr = macroscript), a macroscript is container that holds the maxscript so…
Quixel, Marmoset, and Polycount are pleased to be announcing the winners of our Petrol/Blood contest. This contest asked artists to create a depiction between a rider/pilot and their mount/vehicle as if they are participants in a vehicle deathmatch tournament. Emphasis was on next-gen PBR rendering systems and artists were…
Hey guys, I am a little lost when it comes to baking even though I read up on all the threads by @EarthQuake and the Toolbag Baking Tutorials. Also I was watching the good ol' Handplane Baker videos. Especially this one which still leaves me confused to this day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciXTyOOnBZQ He shows a…
Hello all, strange problem here. Before I go into detail, here are the software I'm using and the versions: Substance Painter 2.2.0 xNomal 3.19.2 zBrush 4R7 Maya 2016 SP4 Marmoset Toolbag 2.08 Okay, so here's the story. I made a low poly (LP) model in Maya. Imported the LP into zBrush to create and sculpt out a high poly…
Hello, I am Jason from Los angeles. This is my head study for personal purpose. I used him to test out Marmoset Toolbag3. I focus on the skin as far as I could in realtime. This was modeled with Maya and Marvelous Designer. Sculpting was done with ZBrush. The head texturing and high detail works were done with texturingXYZ…
I made this model in blender, baked the cards in marmoset toolbag and textured it in substance painter. I would like to know your opinion about this model and comments on obvious errors. Thank you.
Toolbag2 interprets normal maps from various programs very well. If you bake in xnormal or maya, you will have a normal map that can look fantastic in Toolbag2 without having to go through a bunch of modelling hoops. So pick your poison as to which one you want to learn/use. I suspect if you know how to model in maya then…
Hi! I don't know what you mean exactly by AO is missing in the second image. From what I can tell, cavities/concave corners are even more darkened compared to the first image. As far I know, raytracing and raster are two very different renderer, so the result will likely not match. Here is the Toolbag wiki entry:…
I am super confused. All of a sudden, Marmoset does something weird with roughness channel. I am working on modular pipes. So far I created two texture sets. Steel texture set: And iron texture set: I made steel textures first in Quixel Mixer. Then I just copied the project and made some changes to color of the base metal…
