Hello. I had a little break, but now I'm back to work) Big up. Currently working on a landscape. Selaznog No, i do not have special technique, just do textures, and color correcting in UDK some textures
Thanks vig. I have another question. This is for an offline render in 3ds Max. I was wondering if it would be possible to bring the landscape into UE3/UDK, texture blend there, and then export it back into max? Would the blends follow to max? Thanks!
Looks great to me. However, I would change the section header from 'Conceptual Art' to 'Concept Art', since 'conceptual art' is what Christo does when he wraps landscapes. Just a nitpick, really. /jzero
@Jackwhat, thx dude, working on it. @Muzz, thanks man! @mat, thanks man, i love your sculptings) @Pope Adam, thx buddy. some el jokero and shietty landscape or seascape dunno have a good day!
Makkon: I really like the posing of your characters...thats currently something I'm trying to improve with my own work. The landscape is quite nice as well...great atmosphereic perspective and brush work...angled brushes are great.
For the grass, since you use virtual texture to sample the landscape color I suggest to add more green variation in the terrain itself, I did exactly the same trick and these color variations really helped to have a more visible grass structure and an overall nice effect :) a simple hue variation will do the trick!
Today I went up to Squamish, BC. today with a couple of friends for a photo trip. It was awesome! I've yet to try my hand at landscape photography so that was today's purpose - experience! I think I enjoy photographing people more, but I did have a blast today.
Hello, This is obviously not another landscape, so I've been wondering whats the "standard" way of texturing this kind of asset. A] Tileables - Didn't work well with wood log cap. B] Unique texture set - Even at 4K it didn't work well with straps and other fine details.
Lookin good! Nice use of a warmer color scheme. What I find interesting is the way your background is interacting with your character. The landscape is literally warping behind your character which makes him that much more important >.o b
Ohh God ! I wanna make one of those ... Great work as usual. 1. question: looking at the wireframe of the outdoor shot, Do you guys use static mesh for the terrain ? No Engine landscape/terrain like in UDK ? Any specific reason for that ?
