i tested on maya 2013 and there it seems that the vertex appear and yes all of them are yellow. And i always triangulate my models before exporting them for bake so the problem isn't here
Ahh good points Stefan! It is also worth noting that Max and Maya 2013 (which ship in a few days/weeks) will support quicktime 64bit. So converting and wrangling files will be much easier.

Same, I'd be very keen on this version (even with the small amount of new features) if it was actually stable and didn't feel as bloated as 2013 (because seriously, 2 minutes to open the render to texture dialouge?).
Well it somewhat works. But I tried to set width to 3000 px and leave height at 913 px. Max cropped that image, maybe to some render limit ? Is there a way to render images like that ?
are you guys aware of the generator feature? http://blogs.adobe.com/photoshop/2013/09/introducing-adobe-generator-for-photoshop-cc.html it only handles png & jpg - but its quite nice none the less.
