My goal here is to build this rifle in its entirety. I'm building every piece within a minimum accuracy of 1/100th of an inch, which may sound absurd but when everything needs to fit perfectly, minor mistakes are very large. The visual goal here is to have a 100% accurate hi-res model of a complete rifle assembly which I…
I'll definitely be following this. I was wondering though, could you use these techniques to make a terrain that isn't square. A better example would be this picture: http://static.desktopnexus.com/thumbnails/67722-bigthumbnail.jpg I assume I'd build a base mesh similar to that shape and follow the rest of your steps?
Dang it turned out beautiful! Followed it since the beginning and enjoyed every part of it. I hope you someday let us run around in it but I guess for now I have to settle for a video :D Great work man! Looking forward to follow your future projects.
I'll post everything here, I did the best I can; Enjoy your day, and big big thanks to everybody that followed me! I'll definitely do more, follow me on my artstation to keep me on track: https://www.artstation.com/oxtonday See you soon!

Gir, i dunno I think following the reference you posted would be a step in the wrong direction, it looks like the artist just put a bunch of big muscles to look cool, I definatly think that Grim should continue following the skeleton he is currently using as it is -MUCH- closer to typical wing skeletons
Hey! I unfortunately I don't really have much tutorials anymore. I used to follow stuff obsessively but the free stuff for this topic (I'm a hobbyist) isn't really good quality. I am following the amazing 80 lvl advice/guide here though: https://stylized3d.80.lv I'll look at these, thanks!
