Really try to think about where the dirt,rust,grunge will be built up, reference or looking at AAA games that have similar scenes will help. Sometimes less is a better thing.
Sett, Wideload games is doing that with that STubbs zombie game. They only have 5-6 people in house, the main leads and everything is farmed out. They are making a AAA title with this method.
hey guys, can anyone tell me what would the price for creating a proffesional 3d charcter like from a AAA game ? For example like from Wolfenstein, Battlefield 4, etc...
Let's say the model consists of a hundred of cubes that intersect each other in various places. It's a single object, but it's not a watertight mesh. Is this a problem for engines like Unity or UE4? Or, is this considered a bad practice in AAA studios?
There's a bit more involved to create a AAA game than throwing some assets together. As a lone wolf you may be lucky to finish your project at all ^^ But i can definitely recommend to learn some programming. It changes the view at the whole :)

I'm still waiting for Bethsoft to step up their game with Fallout/Elder Scrolls, their animation and voice acting is so far behind other AAA games like Witcher 2 and 3.
