If your using mental ray for realistic renderings ditch the standard material. arch and design is the way to go. standard material ignores energy conservation and and you have little to no control over the reflections. Yup Preety much ! Been reading a bit on it for a few hours now. So its preety much the same thing. I thought it didnt have it implemented since any search with "unity instancing" kept giving me results from 2007 where it wasnt in and they had posts about it not beeing planned as a feature so i got a bit scared. -

For zbrush sculpting it's better to have evenly distributed polygons and density, i usually prefer to add some edgeloops for the head...which gives more density to the area but so far it has worked very well for me. here's an example: I suggest taking a look at Arshlevon's basemesh too:… -

btw. does that firefox addon generates unique filenames for the files in the dumb folder or does it overwrite lets say a image with already exists with the same filename like 001.jpg or other typical patterns people use in galleries and such? Becuase at least the way I described in Opera always generates unique filenames… -

yeah thats rediculous, oh man and its actually true and not just rumour I think the major reason call of duty 4 sold much much more than crysis was the steep system requirements cause theyre both great games.
