Basic-ish chair Rendered in cycles. Blender 2.62 I think background is a temporary thing as I couldn't get good contrast with anything else i tried. The chair legs(there feet) need to be redone as I forgot to add the black rubber stopper for added visual. Creative criticism encouraged.…
A guy named Maddox apparently hacked into Valve's database and stole customer's account and credit card information from last week, and has threatened to release them publicly dependent upon the response he receives from Valve. Valve has yet to respond ><…
Alright I welded them all at .001 and it fixed it. They look normal now. Thanks for that. But the seams are still there. I really think its just my unwrap. The seems are in obvious places. Way too obvious. I thought it wasn't supposed to matter if they're painted on like that, though :( I did the texturing and normal in…
If your using mental ray for realistic renderings ditch the standard material. arch and design is the way to go. standard material ignores energy conservation and and you have little to no control over the reflections. For metals you need to be able to control the glossyness of the reflections, and the IOR curve. heres a…
I've been doing the tutorials and stuff since 2007. I do them to give back to the community. I've been working minimum 8 hour days working on these cars, nothing is a handout. I'm creating a ton of assets for other developers to use. I'm not using these in any project of my own, they are purely for others to test, develop…

I thought it didnt have it implemented since any search with "unity instancing" kept giving me results from 2007 where it wasnt in and they had posts about it not beeing planned as a feature so i got a bit scared.

btw. does that firefox addon generates unique filenames for the files in the dumb folder or does it overwrite lets say a image with already exists with the same filename like 001.jpg or other typical patterns people use in galleries and such? Becuase at least the way I described in Opera always generates unique filenames…
yeah thats rediculous, oh man and its actually true and not just rumour I think the major reason call of duty 4 sold much much more than crysis was the steep system requirements cause theyre both great games. Ubisoft should learn from this mistake. http://www.digitalbattle.com/2007/12/15/crysis-ut3-sales-disappoint/
Had to do multiple checks to make sure this wasnt an April Fools joke. Still wondering if it is, where all kinds of news syndicates are in cahoots with each other. http://www.thestar.com/article/611472 http://montrealtechwatch.com/2007/08/20/all-video-games-in-quebec-to-be-avalaible-in-french/…
