will try cavity map. I was wondering how to do something like that. Currently, he is textured to be a sculpture, but I will take all of your suggestions into consideration when retexturing it to be a live creature. Digging the sci-fi suggestions. Maybe I'll do a 40K version! -

yea daz this is a first person weapon. I tried my best to use verts effectively. i used projection mapping to get my normals. my high poly version was 40k poly. anyways what can I do to optimize it? thanks -

Getting a ton of DataBase errors
Mostly when I try to access anything on the steam-powered website. And more disturbingly a ticket I created for technical support is a 404 error when I try to view the page I feel like the world is conspiring against me or something help? -

I'm a hardcore co-op guy. Always have always will. I frequently go to www.co-optimus.com and I highly reccomend that for looking into more games to play. i keep a list in Google Docs that my co-op friends can edit. usually i'll get info off of co-optimus and put it into that sheet. But sadly most of those games are not… -

One last thing: that 480 is like ~1 year old and cost what, $400? That's still a very good card. You don't have to spend $500 every year on a new GPU to work in game dev. -
