hello polycounters , i will post some sculpts and daily practice here , the goal is to speed sculpt , learn anatomy and get some tips and crits for improvements .
For today's practice, I went back to a spyglass model I made back when I first started doing 3D and rigged it for some more skinning practice. Will hopefully be getting into my next larger-scope project throughout the weekend, where I'll be able to put the skinning practice into more practical use.
Practice in creating UV mapping. I'm not very good at this technique, so I decided to practice. I modeled it based on our soap box, it is not complicated, but has its own nuances. The simulation was done in Blender 4.0.2. I used the free UV Packer plugin for UV packaging. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Ke8lZo
Go find books by Andrew Loomis, Burne Hogarth, Glenn Vilppu (Whom you already know about) or George Bridgman and practice, practice, practice. Some of the books can be incredibly cheap, and others not so much.
Hi everyone, I want to start practicing rigging and I was wondering where I can find models that I'm allow to not only practice rigging but use it in my reel. If there's anyone who wants their model to be rigged (but not the best)then please contact me at jean.nguyen22@gmail.com thank you!!
