<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank">@BeanyCoffee</a>: Thanks! And nah I probably won't go back to that sculpt, it was just a quick sculpt for fun. I might make another dragon head at some point though <img alt="D" height="20"><br> <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank">@cgartland</a>: Thanks, and yeah I need to improve on my…
Hi all, i'm in trouble again :( I solved my problem with the camera but now i'm dealing with mouse movements: first off i need to disable the mouse (i won't need it 'cause i'm moving with arrow keys and my point of view has to remaing still while moving). Than i need to toggle the mouse ON while i'm standing still, to look…
Actually what you have modelled so far has much more of the characteristics of an AKM than an AK47 (the buttstock is from an AKM, so is the slanted muzzle break), so I'd say just stick with it and make an AKM instead (AKMs are also much more common than AK47). But of course the decision is yours. For comparison: AK type…
Welcome to the Polycount Community. Unfortunately, none of your images are showing up for me. You will need to use [img][/img] tags, with the URL to your image in between for them to show up. If you have any issues with posting, don't hesitate to send me a PM and I'll help where I can.
Really interesting. Besides the fun technical limitation of these being vector- and mouse-made, I feel like such studies might also help with memorizing material rendering/surface behavior to reuse later when rendering concept sketches made from imagination. Cool stuff ...
You cannot use attachments on these forums, if you would like to show an image, you need to host it somewhere and link to it using tags. For example: [ img ]http://www.blabla.com/blabla.jpeg[ / img ] (remove the spaces inbetween the brackets etc. If you need somewhere to upload images and get the URL, try imageshack:…
Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear enough. This link from the post https://oliverm-h.blogspot.com/2013/10/wip-parallax-corrected-cubmaps-in-udkue3.html Has images on some german image provider abload.de that shut down in 2024 and I can't even get them from the internet archive. I thought since the dropbox link is dead I could…

It's been a bit of a while since I have posted anything but thats mostly because I have my nose in…
This is looking pretty cool. The sculpting on the turret is rather nice. For optimising the highpoly, my only though is to free up as much ram as possible (close everything but zbrush) before retrying. Another thought is perhaps making the welds on independent "cards" that surround the chassis + welded part, rather than…
I wanted a break from trees and because I am an idiot I decided to have a go at the overlapping model wave function collapse without reading anyone else's implementation (tbh - I got bored reading the descriptions of the algorithm so I didn't even bother with that) The overlapping model is the one where you take a source…
