I would like to share my updated "European Nature Set". It consists of several free to use (for non-commercial use) vegetation models for your projects. It was developed for usage within CryEngine2 but a lot of people from other engines are interested in it too. So I decided to spread the news also here. A downside from my…
I'm new to this and wanted to try my hand at a Razor set. I have limited experience with modeling and I've never done texturing. I have a mostly finished Razor model. Also I wasn't sure if this would go under the collab thread or not so I posted it separately, if it's supposed to go in the collab thread, my bad. Concept…
Was setting up personal hotkeys in zbrush, a daunting task considering some of the problems inherent with this (see the hotkey "c") when for no reason my bracket hotkeys that change my brush size just failed me. Haven't been able to find a solution. Any ideas?
I've been doing this a lot lately, thanks for the macro. I've also been using Set to Edge a lot and it takes forever, so I figured to change that 3 to a 2 in the command line. looks like this: manipMoveOrient 2; manipMoveContext -edit -mode 6 Move; I use that a lot too now, bound it to S, and set to face is A. Hooray for…
I just graduated from VCU with two BFA's. One in Painting and Printmaking and the other in Kinetic Imaging. During my time at school I took some 3D classes but only one of professors was really that great. I am trying to focus more on character modeling and 3D animation. I am very familar with other programs like Adobe…
Welp I had some bad news today and some good news today, so no better way to get out of a funk and get back in on the PnP goodness then by starting up a new thread for a project. I'm going to be rigging up and animating the the beautiful Nizza's hellboy. The intent here is to create a full animation set and controller that…

I have Toolbag 3 and would like to make my scene file rotate the model, not the camera itself. It would help in cases where you would like to have a nice front-lit scene that nicely lights the model as you rotate it. I've looked all over and couldn't find any documentation on it and I can't find any settings on my own.
There are some fair points in there, especially around the growing distrust and how things are getting lumped together visually. That’s something I’m seeing as well, particularly with more polished work getting questioned regardless of how it was made. The archviz point is interesting too. But I don't think in 25 years of…
Hi Jordank95. Wall dimensions question: The best way to determine the needs you are talking about is to lay these pieces out in your 3D engine. Make a 3x3m pieces and compare them to the 4x4 pieces and see what works better for your project. 4x4 might be easier if you don't want to do fractions. Also you might need less…
