It'd probably take me an hour to model it, and another hour to paint the diffuse. And then three months to figure out how to do the glowy effects. -

Model how? Low poly or High poly? Sculpt or Sub-D? What style are you modelling it in? how much detail? And more importantly, you need to ask yourself: is it more important to model this object with in a certain time frame, or is it more important that its looks as best as possible? -
