No:) Use whatever topo tool you are comfortable with. If it is organic I usually use Zbrush but if it mechanical I will use 3dsmax. Try using Zbrush - Zbrush UV Master for Unwrapping...amazing

Cool. Not really sure how unique that workflow is. But cool video. I don't think there can be enough resources like this out there. Look into Topogun. It does the retopo really well plus it bakes out your maps real fast. I've replaced xNormal with that in my pipeline for personal stuff.
