I made this a few months ago to help my students. Things are I think are pretty great in it. I go over the thought process of the technique for the first few minutes. Then I actually do it in the later part of the video.
One unique thing I think in the video I have is...No unwrapping your high but still being able to paint on it and texture it using polypaint in zbrush. Then using Xnormal to bake out the textures to your low. Very speedy.
Enjoy...sorry about my shitty mic.

So you are suggesting that we should use Zbrush Topology tool to create the low poly. =\
I am having problems with low poly model of my own transfered from zbrush. (lvl 1 sub div mesh). I cant seem to unwrap it and I have tested the unwrapping with the Maya sphere, and that unwraps just fine.
I'll try that retopology tool and xNormal. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Try using Zbrush - Zbrush UV Master for Unwrapping...amazing
_ I just have to say is very userful _
My 'workflowz is almost the same (even).
!!
So, retopo the mesh within zbrush and unwrap it in zbrush. Wow. I never thought of that.
I always thought you use retopo the low poly and than decimate the high poly and project in maya. =\
Thanks.
