Oh melee weapons certainly have their place. Get spewed on? Back into a corner with a melee weapon (mmmmm guitar). Left click, right click, left click etc. Running to silence an alarm and crap keeps getting in your way? Machete their assess off as you run right through them. We'll need to get some mass polycount stuff…
i'd switch out the m16 for the burst fire assault personally, I just like it.. and it seems easier to preserve ammo. that's about right tho.. wish you could carry boomer bile and a molo at once :D
Yeah, you're probably right. Wasn't sure if it was still the team that was bought out or not. Like its fun, but just seems like glaring issues that don't seem common for Valve games. But I guess its beta/demo anyways.
hmm that chart states both the snipers are exactly the same stats.. that doesn't sound right edit: oh, except the mag size, and rate of fire.. yeah maybe it is. that confirms my suspicions that the military sniper is just flat out better than the hunting. same with the two uzis
That's good to hear, however they've sorted it out. Drove me crazy to be doing well on Expert until one of the scripted encounters (the room with the minigun turret in the Subway part of No Hope campaign always comes to mind), when the AI would flail around uselessly, or stand right in the middle of the room. + 1
Haven't got it yet, so I gotta ask those who have played the full game a couple questions. First, do you still have to cock the gun every time you go from gun to melee/pistol, to gun? That's driving me nuts on the demo. Are there more weapons than was in the demo (besides the nade launcher, and similar)? And do you still…
