When I smooth faces to make say a rectangle smoother, it goes from 90* degrees hard edges to like sphere smooth and looks horrible, it oversmooths to the extreme. I was wondering if there was an option to control how much it smooths so I could just round out the corners a bit?? Thank you for reading my thread.
Isn't he referring to Mesh > Smooth (the subdivide-average-vertices-kind-of-tool)? In this case it's the Continuity value you wanna play around with to tweak how much you want it to "smooth" the 90 degree angle you are speaking of.
