is anyone else having this problem, in SP 2.4 i used to sometimes bake by mesh name and with a CAGE and it would work fine, but now although this new update has fixed bake by mesh name im getting a massive mess when I use bake by mesh name & with a CAGE. never mind, i figured out what it was, I had renamed my CAGE combined and that messed up the match by name :L just had to rename the parts of CAGE again, I didnt realize the names of the cage matters
Hi Adam, Thanks for your report The behavior you describe is the actual workflow in Painter, but it's not very user friendly and also undocumented. After your report we decided to change this behavior. In the next release of Painter the CAGE name will not matters, exactly as in Designer. Best regards, Damien.
