the hype is unreal! also, I just saw the behind-the-scenes video as well. Love how it looks like they actually built a lot of the sets to mix in with CGI, similar to how MadMax did theirs.
That fight was way over the top, imo. It didn't help that everything in the background was CGI, making it feel less grounded. Then you have them jumping around on platforms like it's some video game-- and that lava, how can that not set their asses on fire?
R2-D2 wasn't a robot, he was a guy in a suit (Kenny Baker). In the newer films they may have done some practical stuff, but he was mostly CGI. BB-8 is kind of neat though. I do like what I've seen from the latest trailer, it does seem like they're getting the look and feel down right and in line with the original trilogy,…

The prequel trilogy's saber fighting did nothing to advance the plot at all, it was all intended to be spectacle - much like several of the combat scenes. All of these…

Honestly if it was up to me, I would throw at more force powers usage. Fighting just with swords, when you have magical powers is kind of lame tbh.…
Haha, that was awesome  As for the sword fights, I gotta agree with the others. Never been a fan of the fights in the prequels. They felt too flashy, too choreographed and too drawn out. One think I always liked about the original trilogy is how conservative they were when it came to fights between lightsaber…
