Hey there, I'm practicing a lot of sculpting lately and i need some feedback. So feel free to post your opinion on the sculpt and hopefully what i could change or improve. :)
Ah I remember that head. My first assignment in the intro to sculpting class. Had to sculpt one for mid term :D Didn't know the instructor wanted it life size, mine was only 6 inches tall. Great reference, you'll learn a ton!
Thanks for your reply. I experimenting a lot with the "Planes of the Head" thing and I am sculpting after these References right now. I thought until I have my sculpt ready I will share these, maybe someone else needs them :) And here is a link to a Site where all these images can be downloaded.
The lips sit flat my friend. It helps to barrel out the mouth shape and then dig in the corners deep. Don't be afraid to use dam_standard and really get in there. The pinch and polish to get your planes right, in the mouth area and others. This gets repeated a lot around here, but always try to squeeze as much as you can…
