I was thinking about where we take this competition dealie in the coming months and I agree with the sentiments that it might not be the best idea to just stick with one hero each month. Perhaps instead of a single hero we could have more open "themes" like 'Assassins', 'Heroes with mounts', 'Heroes with pets/summons',…
No, what I meant was to change the contest rules. This month's contest was about making -anything- for one hero; Mirana. For example it could be for any hero, or as Valve did, for a select number of heroes. They wanted to see more sets for the heroes that didn't have one; so they cut Juggernaut, Axe, Tide and some others…
Hey guys the idea of this competition is to create sets for a hero defined by voting in a friendly ambient that way we can bump items to a hero that is needing it and help each other to get the best of its capabilities its open for everything possible on the dota workshop, like set items, wards and couriers. It just should…
Maybe have one that is focused on heroes that don't have any cosmetic items for them at all, there are so many heroes that don't get any love. Have two votes. One for the least worked on the hero, and another vote for the popular choice. For the "Least worked on" hero, we can create a list of the ten least worked on…
I think the meaning of this competition is to get practise and push each other to finish a product and be more productive. You should always try and hang around with more skilled people than yourself to improve faster. One suggestion i have though is to open for more heroes each month. Maybe vote for two heroes, or one…
Yep, here it is: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=117219 A note though, the heroes have changed. It's Storm Spirit, Keeper of the Light, and Spectre since QoP just got a set.
It good also because we can see how different artists go about creating for the same hero. It can really help out to see how other tackle the same problem. It'll be funnnnnnnn!
