I suspect it is mip mapping, but when I look other maps, they don't seem to pop this close-or at least as noticeably. Just popped it in this morning. I'm digging it. Art, combat, etc is fun. Feels like Gears 1.5. I don't like the enemy animations popping. When they go from cover to attacking there is a distinct pop. Otherwise it's pretty ace so far.
