Hello I am looking for a character artist for games who is good at modeling realistic faces and hair (hair cards)+ anatomy and eventually armor inside Unreal Engine 5. Price is negotiable. Please send your offer and portfolio to this thread.
Hi everyone! At the studio i work at we are making a portfolio piece and i was given the task of creating Xgen alembic hair for this cowboy character. The hair is more angular and really stylized and i was tasked with keeping this stylistic decision in alembic. I have some experience in XGen however never with stylized…
You are so good at making hair! Thank you for sharing so many resources on this, it can be really hard to find details on how people make good hair, at least from my experience
I enjoy using Yeti over Xgen as a newbie in 3D grooming, but I don't know if hair created in Yeti can be imported into Marmoset like how Xgen hair can be converted to polygons. Or at the very least, can we use Yeti to make hair cards?
because the results are genuinely terrible. You'd get better results from an artist starting from scratch than using AI hair, and then getting an artist to fix the output. There is structure and layering to how hair is made. There are thinner hairs and thicker hairs that grow in logical patterns, and I'm not seeing it…
yo just had a question about hair, I was wondering wats the best way to make hair, think long flowing hair, and i dont want to use hair particles in maya I rather model it or alpha it.
