Hi! I am not sure whether this kind of artwork is welcome here, so I will understand if you delete it, apologies if it isn't. It is my personal work, inspired by Discworld, the Librarian. Modeling and texturing in Zbrush, retopo in 3d coat and rendering in Keyshot.
This was a piece I've been working on the last few weeks for my portfolio revamp. Base model was made in Max, sculpted in ZBrush, textured with Photoshop, and rendered using Marmoset. Hope you like it.
This accidentally answers the question above and is also my critique for the night scene: The colors are too saturated. - The blue light is far more gray and greener/less red in the refs - The yellow light can also be less saturated and red I'd adjust them and experiment with adding a couple of faint, desaturated green…
I can agree with you poop on the nutritional side of things to a point but a lot of it has to do with genetics. And I think when you couple poor genetics with poor eating habits you get obese Americans. As far as the bootstrap mentality I haven't played into that idealism since high school. That ideal pretty much vanished…
