This is great, love seeing the progress on this! One thing I think could help is to do a bit of color grading, to recapture some of that softness from the concept... reduce the mid tone saturation, and pull up the black point. Here's a quickie animated GIF

I'm making a skin set for the following weapons: AK12, AA12, M4 and SCAR. Reference: So far managed to make a custom snake skin texture, tested it on M4: Going to work on the other weapons, their parameters, add contrast and fix the overall pattern.

I'm using a Wacom tablet to sculpt and picked the free hand stroke and a hard circular alpha for the brush. I seem to be having trouble with drawing speed. The top stroke was made fast and bottom one was made slowly. Not sure why, but making fast strokes produces this dotted/stamp effect. It's even more noticeable with a…
